This is a vacation ownership resort where we reserve 7 night weekly intervals.
A beautiful resort with a complete health spa/fitness room, tennis courts (the only indoor tennis court in Lake Tahoe), 2 racquetball courts, indoor/outdoor pools and Jacuzzis, The Hungry Bear restaurant and The Bear Cub Deli.

Summary: This was a good stay. I needed to understand how up in the hills the property is compared to Stateline. When there is snow, please have 4 wheel drive or AWD. Great property.

Summary: While the room and resort were nice, our experience was highly dependent on the weather. There was a significant amount of snow just before we arrived at the resort and the roads were so icy we couldn't get around and got stuck numerous times. They cleared most of the snow off the roads, but do not salt the roads and they immediately iced over. Do not attempt to stay at this resort if there is any snow in the forecast, unless you have 4-wheel drive and/or a good set of chains. This information should be stated as a very clear requirement.

Summary: Ultimately, this property served our needs very well. It was absolutely perfectly clean, spacious for 2 couples, and within walking distance to a chair lift. We were able to tandem park our 2 cars in the garage. there were plenty of luggage carts available ins the garage and the rooms had plenty of space for our bags and gear. We arrived late at night, so check in at the driveway gate limited our group of 4 to a single key, and the door to our adjoining room could not be unlocked until the next day, so for the evening of arrival we traveled back and forth through the building corridor, which was a little inconvenient, especially with only one key. The next morning, I was able to use a hallway house phone to call the front desk and learn how to check in, which required driving up the hill to another building. Once there, I got everything sorted, 4 keys, and they called housekeeping to unlock the adjoining room door. After check in, all the logistics became clear, and the remainder of our stay was perfect, but check in was a little bit confusing.

Summary: This timeshare was nestled on the snow covered mountainside with beautiful views of the Reno/Carson City Valley and an eastern sunrise. It’s about 7400 feet above sea level and there is plenty of snow all around. The Stagecoach Heavenly ski lift was very close by and literally around the curve. We were in the Plaza Building and had ample covered parking on the 2nd floor garage with easy access to the elevator. Clean and cozy. The kitchen is stocked with the minimum needed for cooking like you would expect in a timeshare property. We were able to cook anything we needed including a roasted shredded beef in the oven for tacos. My only complaint was that housekeeping did not come around even when called twice. Les, the owner, was super nice and great to work with. We completely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
